Brian Stokes Mitchell, Barbara Walsh, Alan Cumming, Tyne Daly, Edie Falco, Roger Rees and Raul Esparza sang, shared memories and re-created scenes from dozens of McNally hits. John Glover, Marin Mazzie, Joyce DiDonato, Malcolm Gets, Emily Skinner, Alexandra Silber, Bobby Steggert, Jason Danieley and Stephen Bogardus rounded out the evening.
The evening was written and directed by John Doyle. Mary-Mitchell Campell served as musical director.

Terrence McNally, who has received four Tony Awards, an Emmy and the Lucille Lortel Award, has written for the theatre, opera, movies and television. His varied body of work includes Ragtime, The Full Monty, Kiss of the Spider Woman, Love! Valour! Compassion!, Master Class, The Ritz, The Rink, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, Corpus Christi, The Lisbon Traviata and Lips Together, Teeth Apart.
The revival of the John Kander-Fred Ebb-Joe Masteroff musical opened at the August Wilson Theatre April 21, with Eddie Redmayne and Gayle Rankin leading the cast.
