Director Tina Landau is best known for her more avant-garde work - Floyd Collins, Space, Dream True - but the 1956 musical comedy Bells Are Ringing is the first show to bring her to Broadway. Adolph Green and Betty Comden wrote the lyrics and book to the musical, which was made into a 1960 movie starring Judy Holliday.

Tony Award winner Faith Prince stars as telephone answering-service operator Ella Peterson in the upcoming Broadway revival of Betty Comden-Adolph Green-Jule Styne's Bells Are Ringing, set to begin performances at the Plymouth Theatre March 13. Opening is set for April 12.
