News PHOTO CALL: Ben Vereen Honored With Tony's di Napoli Portrait Ben Vereen, the Tony Award-winning song-and-dance man of Pippin, Jesus Christ Superstar and Wicked, was honored with a portrait on the Tony's di Napoli Broadway "Wall of Fame" on Feb. 18. The unveiling coincided with the release of his new CD.

Bob Freed and Rich Bomberowitch produce the album that highlights Vereen's stage career and includes a variety of American standards.

Vereen offered a Feb. 18 Town Hall concert to mark the occasion. Following the performance, his new portrait was unveiled at the popular midtown eatery.
