The foundation is the leading advocate for Jewish cultural creativity and preservation in America. At this year’s sixteenth annual ceremony, Margulies was honored – along wih George Blumenthal, Frederic Brenner and Liz Lerman - for having made art and culture arising from a Jewish sensibility more accessible to audiences throughout the country.
Below, host Theodore Bikel (Fiddler on the Roof) and presenter Adam Arkin (Margulies’ Brooklyn Boy) are seen with the playwright after the ceremony.
