Brian Cox stars in Richard Nelson's adaptation of Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita for the National Theatre in London.
Nelson also directs the solo work that plays the company's Lyttelton Theatre for a limited run. "Humbert Humbert is a European intellectual adrift in America, haunted by memories of thwarted adolescent love," according to NT notes. "He becomes obsessed and involved with 12-year-old Dolores Haze; but first he must deal with the mother."
