News PHOTO CALL: Bridge and Tunnel Star Immortalized at Sardi’s The seemingly unending wall space at the legendary Sardi’s restaurant in New York City became a little more crowded on May 9 as the caricature for current Bridge and Tunnel actress Sarah Jones was unveiled at the storied theatrical haunt.

Jones is the writer and lone performer in the critically praised show, which began life Off-Broadway – where it drew the attention and backing of actress Meryl Streep – before opening on Broadway to rave reviews. Jones plays a number of ethnically different characters in the play. Below, Steve Colman and Jones are seen at the unveiling of the caricature at Sardi's on West 44th Street in midtown Manhattan, just a few doors down from the Helen Hayes Theatre, which houses Bridge and Tunnel.
