News PHOTO CALL: Brigadoon Benefit Concert on Broadway The Irish Repertory Theatre presented a concert version of the Lerner and Loewe musical Brigadoon on June 14 as its annual benefit gala.

The cast of the one-night engagement included Melissa Errico (Dracula, Amour, High Society, White Christmas) as Fiona, Jason Danieley (Curtains) as Tommy, Christine Ebersole (Grey Gardens) as Meg, Len Cariou (Sweeney Todd, A Little Night Music) as Mr. Lundie, AJ Shively (La Cage Aux Folles) as Charlie, Don Stephenson (The Producers) as Jeff, Ciaran Sheehan (Phantom of the Opera) as Harry, as well as Gordon Stanley, Jim Brochu, Bonnie Fraser, Christopher Lynn, Kerry Conte, Karl Maier, Morgan McEwen and a chorus of 50. The evening was hosted by Tony Award winner Matthew Broderick and Jonathan Cake. The show was directed by Charlotte Moore, with musical direction by Mark Hartman and choreography by Barry McNabb.

Brigadoon, according to Irish Rep, "tells the story of a mysterious Scottish village that appears through the mist for one day every hundred years. When two cynical and jaded New Yorkers stumble across the 'Bridge O'Doon,' entering the village on the very day of its once-a-century appearance, they are seduced by its charm and astonished by its story. A love story strong enough to re-arrange time and space ensues when one of the strangers has to choose between returning to the life he left behind and a life with his love in Brigadoon."
