Comic book readers have always suspected that Batman and Robin had that kind of relationship, but Broadway Bares: A Comic Strip made it very clear that Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson were more than just a millionaire and his ward.

At Broadway Bares, 150 dancers perform in various states of undress, from capes and spandex to thongs and pasties. Most other nights, they work it — with costumes on — in 42nd Street, Aida, Chicago, Beauty and the Beast, The Phantom of the Opera, Cabaret, The Lion King, The Producers, Contact, The Full Monty, Mamma Mia!, Sweet Smell of Success, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Urinetown and Rent. In 2002, the Broadwy Bares fundraising included a $50,000 gift from MAC Cosmetics.
