This one-night-only event included performances by Kelly Bishop, Lynn Cohen, Dulé Hill, Andrea McArdle, Christiane Noll, Rosie O'Donnell, Orfeh, Noah Racey, Randy Skinner, Jason Samuels Smith and Jimmy Tate.
Attendees heard selections from A Chorus Line, Damn Yankees, Tap Dance Kid as well as performances by artists from American Repertory Ballet; Broadway Dance Lab; Cirque du Soleil; New York Song & Dance Company; Parelle Exit; Rosie’s Theater Kids; World Cup, with Benois de la Danse Laureate; a special number from "Smash" choreographer Josh Bergasse and the Jubilee Orchestra and more. The show was produced and directed by Ann Marie DeAngelo. Jim Morgan was the musical director with lighting design Brad Fieldsand; Lori Rosecrans Wekselbatt was the production stage manager.
The evening also featured the presentation of the Rolex Dance Award to Ann-Margret by Oscar winner Liza Minnelli. The Outstanding Contributions to the World of Dance Awards were given to Ann Van Ness and Harlequin Floors.
