News PHOTO CALL: Broadway Cast Celebrates August: Osage County Day The cast of Broadway's August: Osage County celebrated its 300th performance and the Mayor's Proclamation of "August: Osage County Day" in New York City Aug. 13.

The Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning Tracy Letts drama centering on an Oklahoma family is the longest-running play of the 2007-2008 season.

New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg proclaimed Aug. 13 "August: Osage County Day" in the city. The Mayor's Proclamation in honor of the show's 300th performance states that August: Osage County has "yielded tremendous cultural and economic benefits for" New York City and has "reaffirmed New York's proud heritage of welcoming the world's boldest, most powerful works of art."
