Broadway Impact Celebrates the 2013 Gay Pride March
This marked Impact's 5th year marching. The group took the opportunity to celebrate the "amazing victories and enormous progress of the last week," according to co-founder Jenny Kanelos. "We are are committed to working to bring equality to the 37 states that remain. Thank you to the theatre community for always leading the way and for their strong dedication to equal rights."
Broadway Impact is a non-profit organization composed of theatre artists and fans who support marriage equality. The organization was founded in 2008 by Tony-nominated performers Rory O'Malley (The Book of Mormon) and Gavin Creel (Hair) as well as production coordinator Jenny Kanelos.
The production will include Bernstein’s incidental music for Lillian Hellman’s adaptation of The Lark, and Menotti’s The Unicorn, The Gorgon, and The Manticore.
