News PHOTO CALL: Broadway Spreads Some Good Cheer with Annual Lighting of Holiday Tree New York City’s Duffy Square lit up with a touch of joy, musical theatre-style, as the Broadway Holiday Tree was unveiled on Dec. 7.

Each year in early December several of Broadway's most familiar faces gather to help ring in the holiday season in the Big Apple with the ligting of the tree. This year the task was left up to David Hyde Pierce (Spamalot), Chita Rivera (The Dancer’s Life) and the cast of Altar Boyz. Below, the chosen stars prepare to light the Broadway Holiday Tree, in New York City’s Duffy Square, at Broadway & 46th Street.
