One of many charity events put on through the theatrical season by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, the Gypsy of the Year competition pits the chorus members of Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals up against one another in a fun-loving competition to raise money for BC/EFA's numerous on-going projects. At left, Sweeney Todd star Michael Cerveris leads his show’s contigent, while Beauty and the Beast and Fiddler on the Roof do their best to spoil the demon barber’s chances at winning.
