Chelsea Clinton was among the celebrity guests at the New York Theatre Workshop gala benefit June 4 which reunited the original cast of Rent for the musical's fifth anniversary. Among the most successful returning Renters were (right to left) Aida's Adam Pascal, The Rocky Horror Show's Daphne Rubin Vega, "Law and Order"'s Jesse Martin and film star Taye Diggs.
Proceeds from the benefit went to NYTW and its new Jonathan Larson Lab space at NYTW, which, as artistic director James C. Nicola says in a released statement, "will be specifically designed to give theatre artists a home to develop new work."
