News PHOTO CALL: David Elder, Julie Reiber and More in Walnut Street Theatre's White Christmas Walnut Street Theatre's new resident production of Irving Berlin's White Christmas, featuring Jeffrey Coon, David Elder, Julie Reiber and Vanessa Sonon, opens Nov. 17 following previews from Nov. 9 in Philadelphia.

Jeffrey Coon stars as Bob Wallace, with David Elder as Phil Davis. Elder is reprising the role he performed in the 2009 White Christmas national tour. The Haynes Sisters are played by Julie Reiber (Betty) and Vanessa Sonon (Judy).

White Christmas includes the Berlin songs "Snow," "Sisters," "Blue Skies," "I Love a Piano," "Count Your Blessings" and the title song, among other classics. The musical follows two Army veterans (who are also showbiz pals) who team with a pair of songbird sisters to save a Vermont inn run by the guys' retired general.

  The cast also features Ben Dibble, Paul Nolan, Fran Prisco , Rebecca Robbins, Alene Robertson, Megan Schmidtand Marcus Stevens. The White Christmas ensemble includes Maggie Anderson, Jamison Foreman, Stanley Martin, Buddy Reeder and Kerri Rose. Ensemble newcomers include Meghan Garstang, Chris Klink, Colleen Kreisel and David C. Strobbe. Brigid Harrington and Eloise Sharkey will alternate as Susan Waverly.
