Times Square New Year's Eve, MasterCard Worldwide and Times Square Alliance joined together on Nov. 30 with cancer survivor Ethan Zohn of CBS' "Survivor Africa," Chad Kimball and Montego Glover of Tony Award-Winning Memphis, Tony Award winner Denis O'Hare and the Broadway show Elling to announce a fundraising initiative for the Stand Up To Cancer charity.
From Nov. 26 to Jan. 1, over 90 participating businesses will encourage customers to use their MasterCard cards when making a purchase, and in turn, MasterCard, the official payment card of the Times Square New Year's Eve Celebration, will make a donation of $1 per transaction, up to $1.5 million total, to Stand Up To Cancer.
