Held each year in historic Shubert Alley, which lies adjacent to the Shubert Theatre (home of Spamalot) between 44th and 45th Streets in the heart of Manhattan’s Theatre Distrtict, the Stars in the Alley concert is a chance for fans of Broadway and musical theatre to hear their favorite performers for free each summer. At left, The Drowsy Chapeone’s Beth Leavel and Sutton Foster, as well as The Light in the Piazza’s Katie Clarke are seen in the green room. Below, Amy Spanger (The Wedding Singer), Michael Cerveris (Sweeney Todd) and Angie Schworer (The Producers) wait out the raindrops at the Stars in the Alley concert.
