Academy Award winner Wiest portrays college professor Laurie Jameson whose life, according to production notes, "is thrown into turmoil when she accuses a student of plagiarism." At left and below, Wiest is seen in various scenes from the production with co-stars Gaby Hoffmann and Charles Durning.

Third is directed by Daniel Sullivan (Julius Caesar) and it scheduled to run through Dec. 11 at Lincoln Center's Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater.
