The Drama League presented its 27th annual all-star gala, A Musical Celebration of Broadway, Feb. 7 in the Grand Ballroom at The Pierre New York. The evening honored two-time Tony Award winner Patti LuPone, most recently back on Broadway in Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.

Co-directed by Roger T. Danforth and Tony Award winner Cady Huffman, the Musical Celebration featured performances from Audra McDonald, Scott Wittman & Marc Shaiman, Laura Benanti, Boyd Gaines, Christopher Sieber, Nick Adams, Will Chase, Chad Kimball, Emily Skinner, Justin Guarini, Liz Callaway, James Monroe Iglehart, Vanessa Redgrave, Ann Hampton Callaway, Montego Glover and Daniel Reichard.

The show included performances highlighting LuPone's stage career.

The evening began with a cocktail reception and silent auction/raffle in the Cotillion Room, followed by a seated dinner in the Grand Ballroom, followed by the performance.

All proceeds support The Drama League Directors Project. Now entering its 27th year, this program is the nation's premier training program for theatre directors, with more than 237 active alumni working around the world.
