The family Arkin (Tony, Alan and Matthew) celebrate the April 24 opening of Taller Than a Dwarf, directed by Alan. At right, Dwarf playwright Elaine May is joined by famed film and theatre director Mike Nichols. Dwarf has been rather obliquely described as the story of "an average couple during the millennium learning the new rules of the American dream," that couple being independent movie star Parker Posey in her Broadway debut and Matthew Broderick.
