News PHOTO CALL: Everyday Rapture Broadway Opening Broadway favorite Sherie Rene Scott's one-woman show, Everyday Rapture - based on a semi-fictionalized account of her life - opened on Broadway April 29, closing the 2009-2010 Broadway season.

Michael Mayer directed and Michele Lynch choreographed the new work co-written by Scott with Dick Scanlan. The show plays at Roundabout Theatre Company's American Airlines Theatre.

Everyday Rapture is characterized as "a young woman's psycho-sexual-spiritual journey on the rocky path that separates her mostly Mennonite past from her mostly Manhattan future."

Scott is joined on Broadway by original Off-Broadway castmates Eamon Foley, Lindsay Mendez and Betsy Wolfe.
