News PHOTO CALL: Frank Langella Stars as King Lear at Brooklyn Academy of Music The Chichester Festival Theatre production of King Lear, starring three-time Tony Award winner Frank Langella in the title role, begins performances Jan. 7 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

King Lear premiered in October 2013 at Chichester's Minerva Theatre. The New York engagement at BAM runs through Feb. 9 in the Harvey Theater. It officially opens Jan. 15.  The cast also features Sebastian Armesto, Max Bennett, Denis Conway, Isabella Laughland, Catherine McCormack, Harry Melling, Lauren O'Neil, Steven Pacey, Rob Heaps, Tom Mothersdale, Chu Omambala, Michael Sheldon, Parth Thakerar, Tim Treloar and Alan Vicary.
