The Joe Iconis Rock and Roll Jamboree promises "a laid-back, fired-up evening of Iconis tunes, featuring new jams, old faithfuls, and glimpses into the future. Songs of hate and hope, suburbia and pornography, cougars and jailbait, dead people and livin' things, and more sing-alongs than you can shake a glass of whiskey at." Heidi Blickenstaff ([title of show], The Little Mermaid, The Full Monty) joined the family on Monday night to perform a world premiere of a new Iconis song, "Ammonia."
In addition to Blickenstaff, performers at this week's Jamboree included Krysta Rodriguez (The Addams Family), Jeremy Morse (Drama Desk nominee-Bloodsong of Love), Jason "SweetTooth" Williams, MK Lawson, Lane Rubin, Katrina Rose Dideriksen, Jared Weiss, Liz Lark Brown, Joe Brent, Brent Stranathan, Ian Kagey and Iconis himself.
The fourth and final Jamboree on Aug. 30 will feature special guest Lisa Brescia (Wicked, Ordinary Days, Aida).
