Elaine Stritch is still going at it back on Broadway in her solo show, At Liberty. Celebrating the Feb. 21 opening night at the Neil Simon Theatre are her show co-writer John Lahr and her director, the Public Theatre's artistic head, George C. Wolfe.
At Liberty is a journey through Broadway and film actress Stritch's personal and professional life, introducing pals and colleagues such as Brando, Merman, Garland, Piscator, Sondheim and Coward along the way. The solo show extended at the Public Theatre before transferring to Broadway.
