News PHOTO CALL: It’s A Wonderful Life as Actors’ Fund Concert Adds to Holiday Cheer The Actors’ Fund of America did its part to keep the holiday spirit high in New York City on Dec. 12 as it’s concert version of the musical A Wonderful Life took to the stage of the Shubert Theatre.

The musical, which is based on the beloved holiday film “It’s A Wonderful Life,, featured Actors’ Fund head Brian Stokes Mitchell—in the role made famous by Jimmy Stewart—and a host of other Broadway favorites including Spamalot’s David Hyde Pierce. At left, Michael Berresse (The Light in the Piazza) and Mitchell, as well as Karen Ziemba and the concert’s director Carl Andress and Pierce are seen at the after party, which was hosted by John's Pizzeria on West 44th Street. Below, the cast is seen during their curtain call and co-star Nancy Anderson is seen with composer Sheldon Harnick (Fiddler on the Roof).
