Among the original Cats cast members auctioning off memorbilia was Anna McNeely, who played Jennyanydots, the Gumbie Cat from opening in 1982 through 1989. Her character's costume was one of the many on the block at the Cats Garage Sale held Sept. 16. The musical, which ran a record 7,485, sold off most of its costumes and props including wigs, Railway Cat train pieces, the shoe that clumps to the ground, various window cards, and all the detritus in the junkyard for the benefit of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
