The singing actor, recently seen on "Glee," performed a wide array of tunes highlighted by music from such artists as Stevie Wonder, Queen and singer/songwriter Audra Rae. He delivered numbers from both Spring Awakening and Hair, though not songs he had performed in those shows: "Mama Who Bore Me" and "Easy to Be Hard."
Here is a look at the scene pre-show, onstage and backstage at the intimate Manhattan venue:
Jonathan Groff earned a Tony nomination for his performance in Spring Awakening. His other New York theatre credits include Hair, The Singing Forest, Prayer for My Enemy, In My Life and The Bacchae.
The Max Martin musical features a number of his most beloved songs, including “…Baby One More Time,” “Roar,” “Since U Been Gone,” “It’s My Life,” “I Want It That Way,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling!,” and more.
