Julius Caesar, directed by Karin Coonrod (King John, Everything that Rises Much Converge), the second entry in TFANA's season of betrayal, recreates Rome as the traditional democracy alters into a dictatorship under the leadership of Julius Caesar. Members of the Senate contemplate assassination as the only way out of their situation, but are they patriots or are they traitors? Julius Caesar plays the Lortel, located at 121 Christopher Street. Tickets are $55, or $10 anytime for those 25 and under (inquire at box office only). For ticket information, call Tele-charge at (212) 239-6200. There will be free symposia following the matinees on Feb. 1 and 8. Theatre for a New Audience is on the web at http://www.tfana.org.
