At the event, Griffin distributed fliers for the show to fans boasting that "The Reviews Are In!" which featured satirical reviews from the likes of Charlie Sheen, Ryan Seacrest, Paula Abdul, Snooki and even Jesus.
"Dishing on all pop culture and shining a light on inappropriate water cooler talk Kathy Griffin Wants a Tony," according to press notes, "will feature all new material about her hilarious observations and run-ins with celebrities. Let's just say Broadway may never be the same again!"

Griffin is a two time Emmy award winner for her reality show, "My Life on the D-List", on the Bravo channel as well as a two time Grammy Award Nominee for Best Comedy Album ("For Your Consideration", "Kathy Griffin Does The Bible Belt") in 2008 and 2010.
