"A perennial presence in the pages of The New Yorker, author and cartoonist James Thurber delighted his readers with fantastical stories and puckish portraits of everyday life," according to press notes. "The Tony Award-winning play offers a first-class sampling of Thurber's sparkling wit including 'The Last Flower,' 'File and Forget!' and the incomparable 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty.'"

Proceeds from the event go toward The Pearl Theatre Company’s The New Stage for the Classics Campaign.

The Pearl Theatre is located at 555 West 42nd Street. For info, visit pearltheatre.org.
