Obie Award winner David Cromer (Tribes, Our Town, The House of Blue Leaves) helms the production that runs through March 10.
Really Really is the first play in Colaizzo's Want, Give, Get trilogy. His other plays include Little Gives, The Thing About Getting, Pride in the Falls of Autrey Mill, and For Tomorrow, Please Prepare.
Lauria ("Friday Night Lights," Parenthood"), Mamet ("Girls," "Mad Men") and Jonigkeit (High) are joined by Lauren Culpepper, who appeared in the premiere of the play at the Signature Theatre last winter, as well as David Hull (Wicked, How to Succeed…), Kobi Libii (CQ/CX) and Aleque Reid (Hair). Really Really, according to MCC, "begins in the hazy aftermath of a wild party when 'the morning after' appears to be just another day in the undergrad carnival that revolves around a close circle of friends. But when morning-after gossip about privileged Davis (Lauria) and ambitious Leigh (Mamet) turns ugly, the veneer of loyalty and friendship is peeled back to reveal a vicious jungle of sexual politics, raw ambition, and class warfare where only the strong could possibly survive."
The Max Martin musical features a number of his most beloved songs, including “…Baby One More Time,” “Roar,” “Since U Been Gone,” “It’s My Life,” “I Want It That Way,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling!,” and more.
