Seeing double at the Dec. 30 Kiss Me, Kate closing party, they're both Petruchios - Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell and Burke Moses, who replaced Mitchell as Fred Graham/Petruchio in the revival.
The Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate ended its acclaimed two-year run after 28 previews and 885 regular performances at the Martin Beck Theatre Dec. 30. Kate's current cast — Carolee Carmello, Janine LaManna, Moses, Kevin Neil McCready — ended the run that began with Marin Mazzie and Stokes Mitchell in 1999. Mazzie is currently starring in the London run of the show, with Brent Barrett as her leading man.
