Sardi's has been a pre-and-post-show theatre establishment since the golden age of Broadway. It's signature wall of caricatures celebrates the best of the New York theatre scene and represents a rite of passage of sorts for those chosen to adorn it. The four newest additions to the wall are producers Marc Routh, Richard Frankel, Steven Baruch, and Tom Viertel. The four are part of the Frankel-Baruch-Viertel-Routh Group, which in recent years has produced the mega-hits Hairspray and The Producers. The four have individually produced four Tony winning productions, with Baruch, Frankel, and Viertel presenting both parts of the landmark drama Angels in America in 1993 and 1994.
