News PHOTO CALL: Lena Hall, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Bryce Pinkham, Adam Chanler-Berat, Robin De Jesus and More Stand Up for Freedom Lena Hall, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Telly Leung and more were part of the annual benefit concert Broadway Stands Up for Freedom, which takes place July 21 at the Skirball Center.

Susan Blackwell ([title of show], Volleygirls) returned to host the 7:30 PM concert, which had musical direction by Paul Staroba. Daniel Goldstein (Godspell) directed.

In addition to Tony winner Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch), Tony nominee Keenan-Bolger (The Glass Menagerie) and Leung (Godspell, "Glee"), the benefit featured Tony nominee Condola Rashad (Stick Fly), Tony nominee Robin De Jesus (La Cage), Adam Chanler-Berat (Next to Normal), Justin Guarini (Romeo and Juliet), Barrett Foa (Buyer & Cellar), Zach Unger, Seth Rudetsky, Todd Buonopane (Cinderella), Liana Stampur and the Clinton Curtis band.

The evening also included a video from Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies) and new music by Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson composer Michael Friedman.

All proceeds benefit the NYCLU's youth programming, including work for LGBT teenagers; the Teen Health Initiative, which educates teenagers on their rights to access health care in New York City; and its work to stop overly aggressive policing and military recruiting in the city’s public schools.
