The evening honored Tony Award-winning producer Roger Horchow (Annie) and Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award winner Tony Shalhoub (“Monk”).

Attendees enjoyed performances by Lilla Crawford, David Hyde Pierce and Billy Porter. Guests also included Kathleen Marshall, Lily Rabe, John Patrick Shanley, Duncan Sheik, John Slattery & Talia Balsam, Susan Stroman, Jon Tenney, Alex Timbers and Jennifer Westfeldt.

“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to pay tribute to Roger Horchow and Tony Shalhoub,” said artistic director Johanna Pfaelzer in an earlier statement. “Tony is a true actor’s actor, beloved by his colleagues, and a constant delight to audiences, whether on screen or on stage. Roger’s innovative entrepreneurial successes, his philanthropy, and his passionate commitment to live theater are inspiring examples for us all. And what better time to celebrate these two gentlemen than this fall, as they return to Broadway, with Annie and Golden Boy!”

Honorary co-chairs of the 2012 Gala Committee are Tim Daly, Sally Horchow, David Hyde Pierce, Jennifer Westfeldt and Jon Hamm.

All proceeds from the evening will benefit New York Stage and Film’s support of artists from around the country in the development and production of original work for theatre and film.

New York Stage and Film is the not-for-profit company "dedicated to both emerging and established artists in the development of new works for theater and film."
