News PHOTO CALL: Lisa Howard, D.B. Bonds and Lauren Ashley Zakrin in Legally Blonde at the Muny Legally Blonde The Musical kicked off the summer 2011 season June 20 at the St. Louis Muny, the nation's oldest and largest outdoor theatre.

Directed by Marc Bruni with choreography by Rusty Mowery, performances are scheduled to continue through June 26.

Bonds as Emmett Forrest, Ken Land as Professor Callahan, Lisa Howard as Paulette, Tiffany Engen as Serena, Taylor Louderman as Margot, K. B. Hart as Pilar, Nikki Snelson as Brooke Wyndham, Michelle Rombola as Kate/Chutney, Lili Froehlich as District Attorney, Madeline Trumble as Enid, Stephanie Cain as Stenographer, Brené Jackson as Store Manager/Judge, Julie Probst as Mom, Colt Prattes as Grandmaster Chad/Dewey/Kyle, Robert Earl Gleason as Dad/Winthrop/Reporter, Charles Osborne as Pforzheimer, Sam Lips as Lowell/Carlos, Matthew Steffens as Padamadan/Nikos, John Riddle as Aaron, Chico as Bruiser, Nellie as Rufus and Tiffany Engen as the Dance Captain.

The ensemble includes Natasha Ashworth, Stephanie Cain, Alex DeLeo, Jordan Firstman, Lili Froehlich, Robert Earl Gleason, Cameron Hobbs, Brené Jackson, Sam Lips, Sarah Meahl, Harris Milgrim, Charles Osborne, Colt Prattes, Julie Probst, John Riddle, Michelle Rombola and Matthew Steffens. Legally Blonde has music and lyrics by both Laurence O'Keefe (Bat Boy: The Musical; Heathers; Sarah, Plain and Tall) and Nell Benjamin (Cam Jansen; Sarah, Plain and Tall) and a book by Heather Hach (the film "Freaky Friday").

"What would you do if you were a beautiful blonde majoring in fashion and shopping, and the man you loved said you weren’t serious enough for him?" ask press notes. "Duh! Go to Harvard Law School! Elle Woods packs up her pink computer and her tastefully accessorized toy Chihuahua, and heads east to redesign some tacky ivory towers."
