The musical will rotate three young actors in the role of the title character, a working class Briton whose dream of becoming a dancer becomes a source of conflict between him and his traditional family. The Victoria Palace Theatre plays host to the production of the new musical which features music by Elton John, lyrics by Lee Hall and direction by Stephen Daldry (who also helmed the original film).

After years of camaraderie, the two friends are finally opposite each other in Broadway's longest-running musical.
The biomusical following the life of the artist and exiled aristocrat comes to Broadway from Williamstown Theatre Festival and La Jolla Playhouse.
The production previously enjoyed a Leicester run in 2021.
Directed and choreographed by Matthew Bourne, the production will play the Chichester Festival Theatre before arriving in the West End.
Original cast members Sigourney Weaver, David Hyde Pierce, Kristine Nielsen, and more will reunite for the one-night-only event.
The Tony-winning musical opened April 17, 2019.
The Off-Broadway premiere officially opened April 16.
Tony winner De Shields will be honored with The Moth's Storyteller of the Year award.
