Set “in the far away mythical, miserable village of Brood,” according to production notes, the play “conjures up an imaginative world peopled by dreamers, schemers, and various sets of would-be lovers.” At left, MCC co-artistic director Robert LuPone and actress Veanne Cox, as well as Berger and director Trip Cullman (Dog Sees God) are seen after the performance. Below, actors Jaymie Dornan, Maria Dizzia, Stephen Mellor and T. Ryder Smith gather at the opening night party for The Wooden Breeks at Frank's Restaurant, located at 410 West 16th Street in New York City.
