Primary poses the question, "In show business, it's all about who you know. Or is it?" The work follows Andy Lipman, "a smart, ambitious kid from Long Island [who] dreams of a career on Broadway and hopes that his idol, theatre legend Martin Kerner, can give it to him. Will Kerner open Andy's door to success, or will their complicated relationship force him to question a life in the theatre?" The cast of Secrets of the Trade includes Tony Award winner John Glover, Bill Brochtrup, Amy Aquino, Mark Nelson and Noah Robbins, with Glover, Aquino and Brochtrup reprising their roles from the Los Angeles world premiere.
