Patrick Kuzara, of "Project Thursday Karaoke", hosted the final round of the competition which pitted eight finalists from the three previous rounds against each other in a battle for $1,000 in prizes.
Jackie Mantegna, Matt Gergorio, Perri Lauren, Alexis Braxton, Lucy Locke, Alyssa Stahler and Kelly Mahoney made up the final eight contestants. Each contestant was asked to prepare one song to perform, and then were surprised with a "Kamikaze" song chosen by event organizers to be judged on as well. These "Kamikaze" songs were typically Karaoke standards, ranging from "Respect" by Aretha Franklin and "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond to "Like a Prayer" by Madonna.
