Ed Dixon provides the book, music and lyrics for this stage adaptation of John Cleland’s eighteenth century novel, which is also known as “Memoirs of A Woman of Pleasure.” The musical tales the story of Fanny Hill, “a beautiful but poor country girl who travels to London to make her fortune…,” according to production notes. At left, star Anderson and writer Dixon, as well as supporter Kathie Lee Gifford are seen after the show. Below, Lisa Vroman, Brent Barrett and Marla Schaffel enjoy a good time at the opening night for Fanny Hill at York Theatre Company Theatre in St. Peter's Church on East 54th Street in New York City.
