Named in honor of, and performed by, the group of performers who bounce from Broadway show to Broadway show in support of the leading actors, the Gypsy of the Year competition raises funds to support Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. At left, Broadway favorites Rick Lyon (Avenue Q) and Mary Ann Lamb (Fosse) join in the fun, while below Never Gonna Dance star Nancy Lemenager leads the performers in the opening number of the event.
The show raised $365,918 toward a $2,754,631 total for the entire event.
