Doubt is a current events relevant piece that looks at what happens when a 1960's Catholic school nun becomes suspicious of a priest's behaviour towards and interest in a young male student. Recent Tony winner Brían F. O'Byrne stars as the priest, Cherry Jones as the nun.

The party was held at Beacon restaurant on West 56th Street in New York City. Seen arriving at left are O'Byrne and co-star Adriane Lenox. Below playwright Shanley is seen with Jones.

Doubt is directed by Dough Hughes and officially opens on Nov. 23, with performances scheduled to run through Jan. 9, 2005 at Manhattan Theatre Club's Stage I.
