News PHOTO CALL: New Love Story India Awaiting Opens Off-Broadway India Awaiting, the new play by Anne Marie Cummings that stars Maulik Pancholy and Margot White, opened at Theatre Row’s Samuel Beckett Theatre on Oct. 23.

India Awaiting is described in press materials as a "love-story between a young Indian man, Nikhil, and a Spanish-American woman, Janet, who face the challenges of assimilation, cultural differences and the traditions of their families." Below, producer Madhur Jaffrey (who was seen on Broadway in Bombay Dreams), director Tyler Marchant, producer Sudhir Vaishnav, Cummings, Pancholy, White and cast members Robert Ian Mackenzie, Naheed Khan and Alok Tewari are seen at the opening night party for India Awaiting, which was held in a private loft.
