Tony Award nominee Sheryl Kaller (Next Fall) will direct We Are Here featuring de'Adre Aziza (Passing Strange), Uzo Aduba (Coram Boy), Adriane Lenox (Doubt, Kiss Me Kate), Larry Pine (Angels in America, The Royal Family), Adam Rothenberg ("The Ex List") and Michael Cummings. According to press notes, We Are Here "offers a glimpse at three generations of a family possessing wit, endurance and compassion in the face of unimaginable loss. As the joyful past and devastated present are braided together with song, young parents Billie (Aziza) and Hal (Rothenberg) together with Billie's sister Shawn (Aduba) and their parents Everett (Pine) and Vera (Lenox) search for their strength to live on."
New York Stage and Film was founded in 1985 by Mark Linn-Baker, Max Mayer and Leslie Urdang and is now under the leadership of artistic director Johanna Pfaelzer and Managing Director Nicki Genovese.
