The Dinner Party's John Ritter, director Peter Bogdonovich ("Mask," "Noises Off") and the legendary Sydney Poitier were among the guests at Judgment at Nuremberg's March 23 opening night. Mann's play covers an infamous German trial where the Nazis and German patriotism were taken to court. Were the Third Reich's officers merely good soldiers, following orders by slaughtering Jews, Gypsies, homosexuals and Poles or should they be held responsible for these crimes against humanity?
