The annual benefit, which brings together Broadway stars to perform songs from shows and roles in which they'd never be cast, was hosted by Victor Garber (Sweeney Todd, Present Laughter).
In addition to Borle (Peter and the Starcatcher, "Smash"), Groff (Spring Awakening, "Glee"), Boggess (The Little Mermaid, Phantom of the Opera) and Krakowski (Grand Hotel, "30 Rock"), performers for the evening included LaChanze (The Color Purple), Jeremy Jordan (Newsies), Marin Mazzie (Carrie), Jason Danieley (Curtains), Cheyenne Jackson (Xanadu), Tony Sheldon (Priscilla Queen of the Desert), Michael Mandell (Elf) and Nicole Parker (Wicked). The musical director for the evening was Phil Reno.
A special performance from Carrie cast members Corey Boardman, Jake Boyd, F. Michael Haynie, Derek Klena, Andy Mientus and Wayne Wilcox was also part of the night.
Light, a 2012 Tony Award winner for Other Desert Cities, was being honored for "her illustrious screen and stage career, her work with MCC Theater, and her impassioned advocacy of several causes, including Arts in Education."
Light (Wit, Lombardi) will appear in the Broadway production of Richard Greenberg's The Assembled Parties on Broadway this spring.
