News PHOTO CALL: Primary Stages Goes In The Continuum for Brief Run at 59E59 Primary Stages, the well-regarded Off-Broadway troupe that most recently provided a home for Terrence McNally’s Dedication, celebrated the opening of its new production In The Continuum on Oct. 2.

Running concurrently with Dedication and performed on that play’s set at the three-theater 59E59 complex, In The Continuum deals with the on-going and ever-deepening HIV/AIDS crisis on the continent of Africa. Primary Stages artistic director Andrew Leynse was so moved by the piece in a recent reading, that he committed to producing a short run of the play this season. Below, Leynse, performer and co-writer Danai Gurira, director Robert O'Hara and performer andco-writer Nikkole Salter are seen at the opening night party for In The Continuum at Sarabeth's on Central Park South in New York City.

In The Continuum runs through Oct. 30.
