The cast of Man and Superman included Arnie Burton, Michael Cerveris, Josh Grisetti, Jayne Houdyshell, Daniel Jenkins, Simon Jones, Emily Loesser, Charlotte Moore, Bill Nolte, Elena Shaddow and A.J. Shively. David Cote of Time Out New York and NY1 narrated the reading. In Man and Superman, according to Project Shaw notes, "confirmed bachelor Jack Tanner (Michael Cerveris) is determined to keep clear of Ann's (Elena Shaddow) matrimonial designs on him. He flees across continents and even, in the dream act of 'Don Juan in Hell,' to Hades for a chat with the Devil (Daniel Jenkins), and back again to avoid entrapment. But, finally, Ann's intelligent will is too much for Jack. This incendiary and rarely produced play will be performed complete, though in a substantially cut three-hour version."
