The Frank Gilroy Pulitzer Prize winning drama is, according to production notes, “about a young veteran's strained relationship with his parents” and stars Pullman (The Goat, or Who is Slyvia) and two-time Tony Award winner Ivey (Steaming, Hurlyburly), along with newcomer Steve Kazee. Below, producer Jeffrey Finn, director Leonard Foglia (On Golden Pond), Pullman, Ivey and Kazee are seen at a rehearsal for The Subject Was Roses at the Manhattan Club Theatre Studios on West 43rd Street in Manhattan.
